Michael Hsu

Libby & Michael Hsu have been the Heads of House at Random Hall since 2024. They enjoy being part of a vibrant, close-knit community that shows up for each other through all the joys and challenges of life at MIT. They have two budgies, Blue and Charlie, who contribute to the many types of musical expression one hears at Random. Libby and Michael also enjoy games and puzzles, cooking and baking food to share, and nature appreciation. 

Michael is a senior performance analyst at Eversource Energy and received a master's degree in economics from Northeastern University. He has worked as a bicycle mechanic and currently volunteers with the MIT Bike Lab, and loves helping students learn how to fix and maintain their bikes. Michael also enjoys connecting with students through music, video games, and birdwatching along the Charles River.
