The security and housing operations teams within Housing & Residential Services are committed to providing a safe and secure housing environment that supports resident well-being. Any housing security questions may be directed to housingsecurity@mit.edu. In an emergency, contact MIT Police at (617) 253-1212 or dial 100 from any MIT phone.

On-Site Security Personnel

Security is on-site in undergraduate residences 24/7/365. Security staff can also help direct you to house team members or other Institute resources that can assist with questions or concerns. They are a resource for you and provide emergency and lockout assistance, as well as help you check in or out of your residence.
