Amanda (she/her) grew up in Massachusetts and attended MIT to receive her bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in public policy. She has worked in education in many capacities, from helping students in Mexico learn organic chemistry with MISTI to teaching high school biology in her hometown to managing the honors college residence halls at UMass Amherst. She is now finishing up her master’s degree in higher education at UMass and is excited to return to MIT to give back to the community that helped make her! In her free time, Amanda enjoys rock climbing, playing video games, searching for wildlife, and doing almost any activity with friends.
