Can’t wait to see you again and we're here to help make the move-in process as smooth as possible! As you prepare to return to campus, double-check the what to bring page. If you use off-campus storage options, make sure you coordinate with the storage company and MIT Parking for a seamless delivery.

Important Dates

Move-in for FPOP

Tuesday, August 19

Move-in for first-year students

Saturday, August 23

Move-in for returning students

Friday, August 29

Spring move-in for new residents

Saturday, January 31

Move on or after your move-in date

If you are not approved for an early arrival by HRS, you cannot move into your room/residence hall early.

Housing staff is unable to provide access to your room/residence hall until the returning student move-in date.

All unauthorized early arrivals will be charged an early return penalty and a daily housing charge.

No exceptions will be made to this policy.
