Kat Howell

Kat has been at MIT since spring 2018. Before finding her EC home in 2022, Kat previously served as the Burton-Conner AD and New House AD. Originally from Texas, she lived in Providence, RI for 3 years before shipping up to Boston! Kat received her bachelor's degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR where she discovered her love of working with students by participating in band and Tau Beta Sigma. Kat received her master's degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX, and additionally received an MBA from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Kat loves traveling, watching movies, music, reading, playing percussion in the BU Concert Band, and snuggling her pup Tony Bark.

Kat loves meeting new people and supporting MIT students, so don't hesitate to stop by and say hello.
