Kat Howell

Kat has been at MIT since spring 2018. In addition to being the Area Director for East Campus, Kat currently covers as the Area Director for New House and previously served as the Area Director in Burton-Conner House. Originally from Texas, she lived in Providence, RI for 3 years before shipping up to Boston! She received her bachelor's degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR where she discovered her love of working with students by participating in band and Tau Beta Sigma. Kat received her master's degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. Recently, Kat also completed an MBA from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Kat loves traveling, watching movies, music, staying active, and her pup Tony.
